Vectron Announces Smallest SC–cut OCXO | June 5, 2012 |
Vectron International announced the release of a mini OCXO. The new OX–503 is the smallest SC–cut based oscillator on the market today. "Our new OX–503 shows our commitment to our customers continued push towards smaller and more reliable platforms , while offering high stability and low aging in the smallest footprint available "said Alan Mond, Vice President and General Manager, Communication business unit, Vectron. "The ability to offer 10 ppb in a 9 mm x 14 mm footprint, along with SC–cut noise and short term stability is unmatched in the market and allows our customers to meet their challenging specifications as they move towards smaller platforms". Applications that put a premium on the oscillator's short term stability and aging are not served by compensated AT–cut OCXOs. The OX–503 meets these goals in a 9mm x 14mm footprint. The product is designed for use in small cell applications, IP networking and in industrial markets where performance is crucial to achieving differentiated performance.
