New evaluation boards from Radant MEMS | September 5, 2012 |
The US company Radant MEMS which is engaged in development and manufacturing of the microwave switches on the basis of MEMS technology, let out new evaluation test boards for them./p> The evaluation test board RMSW201-EV12 is intended for SPST RMSW201 switches. It has one RMSW201 SPST RF switch connected to two SMA RF connectors, as well as a calibration line. The board requires an external supply to provide the gate (actuation) voltages. External DC ground return resistors are pro-vided on the board. This evaluation board operates at a reduced frequency range in comparison to the native device due to design and material limitations of the evaluation board. The evaluation test board RMSW260-EV12 has one RMSW260 SP6T RF switch connected to seven SMA RF connectors. The board requires an external supply to provide the gate actuation voltages. Each drain and source connection is triple-bonded to minimize insertion loss and grounded through a 40 kΩ resistor to ensure proper switching and to prevent static damage. The product RMSW221QFN-EV12 is the first evaluation test board of the company intended for switches in QFN packages. The board contains one SPDT RMSW221-QFN switch connected with three SMA connectors, and the calibration line. |
